Terms of Service

Aurea Shield is a software application for personal health information management. It is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, professional medical advice, emergency services, or other healthcare services.
Aurea Shield does not replace a doctor, qualified healthcare professional, hospital, clinic, emergency service, or other professional healthcare provider. Users should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Aurea Shield you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of the Service
Aurea Shield is personal and family health information management software published by Aurea Technology. It helps users store, organize, track, and share health-related information they choose to record. It is not a hospital, clinic, pharmacy, laboratory, insurance company, or telemedicine service.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. The app is intended for adults. Accounts for children under 13 should not be created without a parent or guardian.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us of unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that pose security or abuse risks.
5. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when you choose to enter it
- Use the app lawfully and respectfully
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer unlawfully, or abuse the service
- Do not use the app for emergency medical situations — call local emergency services instead
6. User-Provided Information
You retain responsibility for content you enter, upload, or share. You represent that you have the right to provide that information (including family member information you manage).
7. Health Information Disclaimer
Aurea Shield organizes information; it does not practice medicine. Outputs, reminders, scores, summaries, and documents are tools for your own organization and do not constitute diagnosis, treatment, or care.
8. AI and Automated Features
Any AI-generated or automated output is provided for informational purposes only. Such output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular situation and should not be relied upon as a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, or substitute for professional medical advice.
9. Information Sharing
Sharing features (exports, messages, links, QR snapshots, and similar) are under your control. Once you share information with someone else, that copy may be outside our control.
10. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Aurea Shield to harass others, distribute malware, violate privacy or intellectual property laws, scrape the service abusively, or misrepresent the app as a licensed medical service.
11. Intellectual Property
The app, branding, and site content are owned by Aurea Technology or its licensors. You receive a limited license to use Aurea Shield for personal, non-commercial information management as intended.
12. Third-Party Services
The app relies on third parties (for example Google Play, Supabase, RevenueCat, OCR/AI providers). Their terms may also apply. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policies.
13. Availability
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change, and free-tier limits or ads may apply.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Aurea Technology and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions you make based on information in the app. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for Aurea Shield subscriptions in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
16. Account Suspension / Termination
You may stop using the app and request deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, legal risk, or prolonged inactivity where permitted.
17. Changes to the Service
We may update features, quotas, and pricing (via Google Play) over time. Material removals of core functionality will be communicated where practical.
18. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply. Courts in that jurisdiction may hear disputes, subject to those protections.
